Coffee, Almond milk and Caramel…OH MY! Who hasn’t spent 5 dollars on a tiny drink from a coffee-house because we feel like its to hard to make at home. Here’s a secret…it’s easy, cheap, and totally customizable. A Homemade Caramel Frappuccino is delicious to make and you can make them as sweet as you would like.
Homemade Caramel Frappuccino Recipe
Make coffee, you will need 1 1/2 cups for this drink. The stronger the coffee the better the coffee flavor, but this is where the customization begin, you can brew it as strong as you would like the flavor to be.
Now to your milk choices, you can choose what type you enjoy. I do not drink regular milk, so I add unsweetened vanilla almond milk. You could even use soy or coconut milk.
The caramel is your choice, you can add store-bought or make your own. Make sure that your caramel sauce isn’t too thick or it will sink to the bottom of the blender and not stir in as well if you are using a single serve blender.
Add as much ice as you hear desires, the thicker you want it the more ice you will add.
Turn on the blender until it is the desired consistency. After your done blending pour it into a glass and top with whip cream and more caramel to drizzle if you would like. Add a straw and drink up.
This is an easy and cheap solution to a coffee-house frappuccino. Save your self some money and gas by making your own. I hope you enjoy this recipe and make it when you need your caffeine fix.
- 1 1/2 Cups Coffee
- 1 Cup Almond Milk or substitute
- 2 Tablespoons Caramel
- 2 Cups Ice
- 1/2 C Heavy Cream
- 2 Tablespoons Powdered Sugar
- Whip the Heavy Cream and Powdered Sugar to firm peak or you can use already made whipped topping
- Put the Coffee, Milk, Caramel, and Ice into your blender and blend until desired consistency.
- Pour into glass
- Top with Whipped Cream
- Drizzle Caramel on top
- Add a straw and ENJOY!
