I hope you have been rocking this month’s challenge to drink more water! If you are new here is my 12 Month to A Better You Challenge! Water can start to get boring and you might be starting to crave sugar filled drinks. If so this is the post for you. Flavored waters have taken over grocery stores, but most are nothing more than artificial ingredients added into tap water. There are so many amazing reasons to drink more water and all you need is some fruit and herbs to make sure that your water never is boring! Enjoy these flavored water recipe ideas.

Cucumber Lemon Water

 Flavored Water Recipe Ideas

Cucumber lemon water is an immunity boosting, anti-inflammatory drink that will fill you up, flush your system and help you feel better. In a large pitcher place 1/4 cucumber that is thinly sliced. On top of that add, 1/2 lemon sliced thinly. Next, add ice and fill with water! Put it in the fridge for a couple of hours and ENJOY!

Blueberry Lime Water

Fight inflammation and flush toxic with this tasty drink! In a large pitcher, place 1 cup of blueberries and 1 1/2 limes sliced thinly. Add ice and fill with water! Place the pitcher in the fridge for a couple of hours and ENJOY!

Pineapple Orange Ginger Water

Enjoy this Vitamin C-rich water. In a large pitcher place 1 cup of pineapple,  1 orange, and 10 slices of ginger. Add ice and fill with water! Place the pitcher in the fridge for a couple of hours and ENJOY!

Berry Lemon Water

Enjoy this high antioxidant drink! In a large pitcher place 2-3 cups of mixed berries. (Your choice I like raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, and strawberries.) Next, add 2 lemons sliced thinly. Top with ice and water.  Put it in the fridge for a couple of hours and ENJOY!

Strawberry Kiwi Water

Strawberry Kiwi carbonated water was my favorite growing up! So I decided to make a non-carbonated healthy version of it. In a large pitch place 2 cups of sliced strawberries and 2 sliced kiwis. Add ice and fill with water! Place the pitcher in the fridge for a couple of hours and ENJOY!

I like to just throw everything in a mason jar so it’s extra flavorful. It makes the water more of a concentrate and then I can decide how strong I want the flavor to be from there!I hope that you enjoy these flavored water ideas! Let me know your favorite combinations!

  1. I’ve been wanting to try these but I keep putting it off. How many can I prepare in advance? Or I guess a better question would be, how long will the water last in the refrigerator?

  2. The fruit can be used up to three times, but it will also depend on the freshness of the fruits you are using. If the fruit starts to look like it is going bad, it’s best to toss it and start with a fresh batch. Mine normally last 7-10 days and then I make more.

  3. Since I’m not a big fan of “plain” water, I’m always looking for ways to add some flavor without putting anything artificial in it. I’m definitely going to make use of these flavor combination ideas!

  5. I LOVE fruit-infused water! I got my family into this when I was still in Manila two years ago! My go-to is lemon water, but I like throwing in a few strawberry slices in there sometimes, too! 🙂
