The Best Monster Cookies Recipe

Have you ever heard of monster cookies? If not they are AMAZING! I could just literally eat this dough all….day…long. They are are peanut butter oatmeal cookies pack full of M&Ms and chocolate chips. I have seen people make these with butterscotch chips, raisins,  peanut butter chips,  toffee pieces, and even with nuts. I prefer simple, so I make mine with chocolate chips and M&Ms. This is a tried and true recipe that I have been making for years and has never failed me so today I will share it with you!

Monster Cookies Recipe

Want to know the best part of making monster cookies is the fact that they can be made in one bowl! I for one hate to do dishes and am always trying to figure out how to get out of doing them. This is the perfect one bowl monster cookie recipe and I love how easy it is to make them!

Start with mixing 1/2 cup plus 3 tablespoons of butter and 2 cups of peanut butter until blended well together. Next stir in 1 and 1/3 cup of brown sugar and 1 and 1/3 cup of sugar. Add 4 eggs and 1 teaspoon of vanilla and mix until incorporated.  Add 2 and 2/3 teaspoons of baking soda and 6 cups of oatmeal and get ready to mix until blended!

Now the fun part…THE CHOCOLATE! Add 1 cup of chocolate chips and add 1 and 1/2 cups of M&Ms. The best part about adding M&Ms is the fact that you can change the colors depending on the season which makes these cookies festive all year long!

Now use a regular sized cookie scoop and scoop onto a cookie sheet. Press down lightly (the cookies do not spread a lot!) and place into a 350-degree oven for 8 minutes.

Now the BEST part eat all of the cookies! Okay…maybe not all of the cookies by yourself. The recipe does make around 5 dozen cookies but trust me when I say you will have no problem getting rid of these cookies. Your friends and family will love them!
